Took the boys to the movie UP on Sunday with their nana in tow. L is an old pro at the theatre-LOVES it! D was mesmerized just standing in line. Boy did those eyes get big when we walked into the theatre and he saw the big screen!! He ate almost an entire medium sized bag of popcorn by himself. I don’t even think he blinked the whole time.
Of course, during any quiet part of the movie “MOM” (and if I did not answer quickly enough) “MOM” I would have to answer super fast and not talk over him because if I did “MOM”. Once I did answer him and he heard me, he would talk about whatever it was that caught his attention that he just HAD to tell me about. Once, there was a baby that was crying; and in case I did not hear that ear piercing baby wail: “MOM” “MOM” “BABY CRYING”. Of course-that was equally as ear piercing.
It was a blast and I am sure he will want to go again. I cannot keep his brother away from the movies! At least now I have people to go with :)

this morning
So D is hysterical! This morning my wonderful husband went in to wake the boys up and get them ready for daycare...they were already awake and in a playful mood. D was already back under the covers -all the way under- (L was still there...). Daddy starts to pull the covers back and D yells "I still sleeping, get outta my room" *giggle giggle* then I go in there and it's nothing but smiles all around. Then he says "you tickle me" so it was on!

in front of the grandparents, really?!?
So, Grandma & Grandpa B were over last night to visit...and the boys were in FINE form. D was throwing pillows, L was whining that he could not hear the movie that was playing (that he should not have been watching anyway...) D would chase L around and they would scream. They both thought that they were (as L put it) 'thirsty to death'. Really? Arg!

Ahhh...memories
I was just thinking about what funny things kids say...
like when we give L a garage haircut: he hates it because then his "eyebrows don't blend"
Or when we ask D if he has a poopy diaper and he says "no" when all indications are otherwise. So I bribe him to tell the truth with chocolate. Then he still unwillingly says "Yes". Then, asked if he did it, "no, brother did"
these kids crack me up!
