Six...it's a pisser

The fits that Lo is having are. Awful. & About. Anything.  This morning it was because he wanted to wear a hoodie to school instead of his coat.  It's 36* and raining.  We tell him he has to wear his coat.  He runs.  Literally.  Into the living room away from us.  I flip out.  He wore his coat today.  We both cried. 

How can it be a bedroom with no door??

Well, Lo has been having hard time lately. I think that the break from school threw him for a loop, then just as he was getting adjusted to it-back to school he went. Which, of course, requires another adjustment. Adjusting for Lo is not easy: it includes tantrums, whining, crying & yelling (from him!!). 

During is latest and greatest he was sent to his room because we were done listening to it. He did not like this so he would yell at us then slam his door.

favorite colors...

So, Lo was having a conversation with Aunt T about favorite colors...hers is gray...his is brown.  "Brown?  I have never heard anyone say their favorite color is brown?" says Aunt T.  Big grin from Lo..."Is that a bad thing?"  We all giggled.

BTW-tell me it will end soon...he is 6, but throws tantrums better than his 3 year old brother...it has to end soon, not sure how much longer we can take it.  Tantrums over every little thing.  Arg...
