Camping

Well, last weekend and this weekend we were off camping...here are some pictures :)

WAYYYYY up there (the tiny speck on top) is the lookout that was our destination...

As far was we got...because:

the darn road was closed...

But it was not a total loss of 3 hours in the car; in the heat, really.

JUST to the left of the above picture is this nice steep ledge.  Don't worry-of course the boys tried to go over it!  Of course, they did not even think that if they fell it would be to their deaths.  They just thougth it was really cool to be on the top of the world!

A really pretty flower along the side of the road.  I had never seen one like it and they were everywhere!

The boys after they enjoyed an ice cream sandwich in Ione after the car ride back down the mountain.

I was also on vacation last week and here are the boys enjoying the sun :)
